It is a cult classic from 1981, Helen Mirren as Morgan Le Fay, who witnesses her mother being seduced by Uther (disguised as her husband under a spell by Merlin). It is based on the 15th C novel by Mallory. You can find clips on YouTube, I have it on DVD. Better than First Knight, more gritty, and bloodier than the Hollywood classic. Go for it.

There is also a 2 part mini series called Merlin, though that concentrates on Merlin and Morgana rather than Arthur.
